Nigel Wright Leads Webinar for Insurers at Lloyd's Market Association

Mediator and Arbitrator Nigel Wright recently presented the webinar, “What Insurers Need to Know Before They Mediate” for Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA) in London.

Insurers are often the party responsible for the payment following any settlement reached within a mediation, and increasingly they are responsible for conducting much of the negotiation. However, despite this, there is little mediation training for insurers and even less insight into how US mediations are structured and the dynamics at play. This webinar seeks to give an overview of the structure, dynamics and best practices and seeks to identify important considerations that insurers should consider before and during their mediations.
