Raymond Ayres, II
Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator
The Florida Bar
United States District Court – Middle District of Florida
I graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Finance. I then received a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law. While in law school, I clerked for government agencies and attorneys in private practice.
I am a persuasive, experienced, and skilled litigator with outstanding communication, client service, and relationship management skills. I’ve tried numerous cases in circuit court, workers’ compensation final hearings, and administrative hearings with the Social Security Administration. I have vast experience in representing plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of personal injury claims, including motor vehicle accidents (bodily injury and uninsured/underinsured motorist), slip and falls, commercial cases, and complex cases with significant exposure through settlement and trial. I’ve represented insurance companies in workers’ compensation subrogation claims and also represented commercial defendants in construction defects cases. I’ve prepared and presented oral arguments to the First District Court of Appeal in workers’ compensation appeals. I’ve also prosecuted criminal cases for the State of Florida.
I have vast experience in litigation and legal strategy, and conducted necessary and appropriate discovery, hearings, trials, depositions, oral arguments, mediations, arbitrations, and similar proceedings. I advised, communicated, and conferred with clients (both plaintiffs and defendants), as well as claims representatives, rendering clear, unambiguous legal opinions and advice, including expert designation, management, and case evaluation. As a mediator, I use this vast experience to assist the parties in reaching a settlement. I am available for your circuit civil and workers’ compensation mediations.
