Kimberly Johnson

Kimberly L. Johnson, a Lexington, South Carolina native, holds an associate in applied science in Paralegal Studies. Her career began as an office manager and paralegal at The Laubshire Law Firm, a criminal defense firm in Columbia, S.C., where she developed a passion for helping others through legal challenges.
She later became an executive administrative assistant for the Food & Nutrition Division at the South Carolina Department of Social Services (SCDSS). In this role, she served as the Emergency Food Services Liaison, working with the South Carolina Emergency Management Division and FEMA to provide emergency food supplies during natural disasters.
Kimberly then worked as a Child & Adult Protective Services paralegal for the Lexington County DSS, where she supported legal efforts to protect vulnerable children and adults. She further expanded her expertise as a licensed private investigator with Setree Investigations in Lexington, focusing on surveillance and casework for cold cases, insurance fraud, and family law.
In January 2021, Kimberly moved to Jacksonville, Fla., to start a new chapter with her husband, David, a Navy veteran. She has two daughters and enjoys gardening, fishing, reading, cooking, attending car shows, and decorating for holidays.
