Vangie White
Client Success Manager
Vangie White has more than 25 years of experience in the legal field, with a strong focus on intellectual property law. Over the course of her career, she has worked with industry giants and iconic brands, including ExxonMobil — where she played a key role in establishing the company’s new trademark following the merger of Exxon and Mobil.
Vangie has also worked at Fish & Richardson, the oldest intellectual property (IP) law firm in the United States, known for representing historical inventors such as Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, and the Wright brothers. She collaborated closely with legendary rock band ZZ Top on trademark matters, and contributed to patents involving household names like Kleenex and Post-it pop-up notes.
Drawn to the innovation and creativity at the heart of IP law, Vangie has always been captivated by the invention process. Her favorite professional chapter took place at Cades Schutte in Honolulu, where she lived on Oahu’s windward side and worked in downtown Honolulu. A self-proclaimed beach bum, she says Hawaii felt like home from her first solo trip there at age 16.
Originally from Baytown, Texas, just east of Houston, Vangie is an avid traveler and outdoors enthusiast. Her passions include hiking, surfing, kayaking, hunting and fast cars. She has a son, daughter, and granddaughter, and her beloved shih tzu, Kletus, is her constant companion.
