George Fitzsimmons

George Fitzsimmons is an accomplished mediator with extensive experience spanning more than 500 mediations. His practice includes cases involving medical negligence, wrongful discharge, discrimination (age, racial, and sex), product liability, FELA, professional negligence, wrongful death, personal injury, construction law, premises liability, business and employment disputes, and commercial and class action litigation.

Before focusing exclusively on mediation in 1999, Mr. Fitzsimmons built a distinguished 30-year career as a trial attorney, trying more than 250 jury cases to conclusion. He represented both plaintiffs and defendants across a wide range of legal matters. His expertise earned him recognition as a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, International Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the International Society of Barristers.

Mr. Fitzsimmons held leadership positions at several prestigious law firms, including Gray & Ritter (1989–1999), Suelthaus & Kaplan (1985–1989), and Fitzsimmons & Fitzsimmons (1970–1984). He also served as Chief Trial Attorney for the Public Defender Bureau in St. Louis (1968–1970).

A frequent author and lecturer on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Mr. Fitzsimmons is highly regarded for his contributions to the field.

Mediation Rates 4hr Min.
2 Party Case: $225 per party; per hour
3 Party Case: $175 per party; per hour
4 Party Case: $150 per party; per hour
5+ Party Case: Flat Rate Available Upon Request

Travel time and expenses, including meals and lodging, billed separately and split equally among the parties at the Neutral's hourly rate.

Mediation Admin Fees
St. Louis Mediation Admin Fee - $250 per party

MEDIATION CANCELLATION POLICY

Mediations cancelled within 10 days of the mediation will be charged a cancellation fee of $500. However, mediations cancelled, rescheduled or settled within 24 hours of the mediation will be charged 4 hrs. of the Neutral's hourly rate . Cancellation fees shall be sent to the cancelling party unless otherwise agreed to by the parties.
