Kevin O’Malley

Kevin F. O’Malley is a highly respected mediator, attorney, and former U.S. Ambassador to Ireland. Nominated by President Barack Obama in 2014, O’Malley served as Ambassador to Ireland, where he fostered diplomatic relations and taught American law.

As Of Counsel at Greensfelder Hemker & Gale P.C., he previously led the firm’s medical negligence and white-collar crime practices before his ambassadorship. A former federal prosecutor, O’Malley has extensive trial experience, having tried numerous cases to conclusion in federal and state courts across Missouri, Illinois, California, and Arizona.

O’Malley is the senior author of the authoritative nine-volume treatise, Federal Jury Practice and Instructions, widely used in federal trials across the United States. His expertise in medical and legal ethics earned him an appointment to the Missouri Board for the Healing Arts, where he served as its only non-physician member and later as Board President.

He has taught American law internationally in Ireland, Russia, and Poland and served on the Board of Directors of Greencore Group plc, a billion-dollar international food company traded on the London Stock Exchange.

O’Malley is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a recipient of the Award of Honor from the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, and holds an honorary doctorate in medical science from Saint Louis University. In 2019, he was appointed as Ambassador-in-Residence and Professor of Practice at Saint Louis University School of Law and was elected to the law school’s Hall of Fame. His significant experience in mediation and arbitration as a litigant, mediator, and arbitrator underscores his commitment to civility and effective dispute resolution.

Mediation Rates
2 Party Case: $225 per party; per hour
3 Party Case: $175 per party; per hour
4 Party Case: $150 per party; per hour
5+ Party Case: Flat Rate Available Upon Request

Travel time and expenses, including meals and lodging, billed separately and split equally among the parties at the Neutral's hourly rate.

Mediation Admin Fees
St. Louis Mediation Admin Fee - $250 per party

MEDIATION CANCELLATION POLICY

Mediations cancelled within 10 days of the mediation will be charged a cancellation fee of $500. However, mediations cancelled, rescheduled or settled within 24 hours of the mediation will be charged 4 hrs. of the Neutral's hourly rate . Cancellation fees shall be sent to the cancelling party unless otherwise agreed to by the parties.
