Steven H. Schwartz is a highly experienced litigator and mediator with a legal career spanning nearly four decades. Since 1985, he has focused on complex litigation and economic loss claims, representing clients in a wide range of disputes, including:

  • Business-related disputes: Breach of contract, fraud, unjust enrichment, RICO, tortious interference, non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, breach of fiduciary duty, securities fraud, and antitrust.

Previously, Mr. Schwartz served as an attorney for the U.S. International Trade Commission, Office of Unfair Import Investigations, where he gained valuable experience in federal investigations and trade law.

He is recognized in Best Lawyers in America for Commercial Litigation and Insurance Litigation and serves as a qualified neutral for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri and the Circuit Courts of the City of St. Louis and St. Louis County, Missouri.

Rates
2 Party Case: $200 per party; per hour
3 Party Case: $150 per party; per hour
4 Party Case: $125 per party; per hour
5+ Party Case: Flat Rate Available Upon Request

Travel time and expenses, including meals and lodging, billed separately and split equally among the parties at the Neutral's hourly rate.
Pre/Post Consultation & Document Review: Hourly Mediation/Arbitration Rate

Mediation Admin Fees
St. Louis Mediation Admin Fee - $250 per party

MEDIATION CANCELLATION POLICY

Mediations cancelled within 10 days of the mediation will be charged a cancellation fee of $500. However, mediations cancelled, rescheduled or settled within 24 hours of the mediation will be charged 4 hrs. of the Neutral's hourly rate . Cancellation fees shall be sent to the cancelling party unless otherwise agreed to by the parties.
