Thomas Prebil
Hon. Thomas J. Prebil is a seasoned mediator and former Circuit Judge with extensive experience in resolving complex legal disputes. He served as a Circuit Judge for the 21st Judicial Circuit of St. Louis County from 2009 to 2016, during which he presided over and settled hundreds of cases. His judicial work included a wide range of civil, criminal, and dissolution cases.
Before his judicial appointment, Judge Prebil practiced law for over three decades (1975–2009), representing both plaintiffs and defendants in numerous cases. His legal career began as a Public Defender for the City of St. Louis (1972–1975) after serving on active duty with the U.S. Army Reserves (1971–1972).
