Leesa A. Bohler

Leesa Bohler has been a full-time mediator since 2021. She mediates cases including automobile, employment, personal injury, premises liability, and worker’s compensation, among others.

Before joining Miles, she practiced law for more than 22 years specializing in insurance defense litigation, including personal injury and workers’ compensation; she also worked as an administrative law judge for the Georgia State Board of Workers’ Compensation in Savannah for 16 years.

Leesa started mediating at a judge in 1997, hearing and mediating hundreds of cases for the state for 13 years. When she joined Moore, Clarke, DuVall & Rodgers in 2010, she began mediating cases in the private sector while defending clients in civil litigation for the firm.

Leesa found a mixed practice of litigation and mediation to be very rewarding but found mediation more personally fulfilling than litigation. She enjoys working with opposing parties toward a solution satisfactory to everyone involved without going into a courtroom and decided to focus solely on serving as a mediator in December 2021.
