Episode 3.19: A Conversation with CK Hoffler: Building a Legacy of Service to the Community

In this episode, Winter Wheeler of MMA sits down with CK Hoffler, President of the National Bar Association and CEO of the CK Hoffler Firm, an Atlanta-based law firm specializing in trucking accidents, medical malpractice, wrongful death, catastrophic personal injury, civil rights litigation, commercial litigation, employment discrimination, opioid litigation, and global commercial transactions. Hoffler is licensed in five states, including Georgia, Florida, Virginia, DC, and Pennsylvania, and to date has tried and/or settled cases totaling over $800 million.

 

 

Additionally, Hoffler serves as counsel to Reverend Jesse Jackson and has represented him and the Rainbow PUSH Coalition and related organizations for the past 30 years. Furthermore, she has extensive professional work experience throughout Africa, Europe and the Caribbean. She has represented foreign interests and foreign governments and lobbied on behalf of various foreign countries while in practice in Washington, DC. 

 

Hoffler is an alumna of Georgetown University Law Center and received her undergraduate degree from Smith College. She boasts an extensive community service background, including participation in pro bono law clinics, extensive lecturing on First Amendment matters, women’s issues, children’s concerns, and international matters.

 

As a trailblazing lawyer, she has received numerous awards and recognition for her contributions to the legal profession and commitment to philanthropy. She also lectures extensively on trial strategies and winning trial techniques throughout the nation.
