Kristy Weathers has been Evershed Sutherland’s Professional Development Partner since 2006. In her role at the firm she oversees comprehensive in-house training programs and works with various committees and leaders on developing coordinated approaches to lawyer review processes, mentoring, and professional growth. For 14 consecutive years, her firm has ranked as one of the top legal practices in the country for lawyer training.
Stacey Dougan is a psychotherapist, speaker, and consultant in Atlanta, Georgia, where she offers counseling to individuals and couples. She presents at workshops, bar associations, law firms, and legal organizations about lawyer mental health, well-being and self-care. She serves as a member of both the Georgia Bar’s Lawyer’s Assistance Program and the ABA Law Practice Division Attorney Well-Being Committee. Before coming a therapist, Stacey spent more than 20 years as a lawyer, shareholder, and member of senior management at Big Law firms; first at Greenberg Traurig and then at Powell Goldstein.
