Rex D. Smith was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1976. In his 40 years of active practice, he tried over 100 cases and had a strong trial and appellate practice. Mr. Smith has handled over 3,000 mediations/arbitrations. He has been selected by his peers to “Best Lawyers in America”, “Georgia Super Lawyers” and holds the AV® Preeminent rating, the highest possible Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating. Rex has extensive experience in personal injury, construction, products liability, wrongful death, professional negligence, medical malpractice, aviation, nursing home litigation, and premises liability law.

Local Rates – Atlanta 4hr Min.
2 Party Case: $695 per party; per hour
3 Party Case: $595 per party; per hour
4 Party Case: $495 per party; per hour
5+ Party Case: $495 per party; per hour

Travel time and expenses, including meals and lodging, billed separately and split equally among the parties at the Neutral’s hourly rate.
Pre/Post Consultation & Document Review: Hourly Mediation/Arbitration Rate

 

MEDIATION CANCELLATION POLICY

Mediations cancelled within 10 days of the mediation will be charged a cancellation fee of $2000. However, mediations cancelled, rescheduled or settled within 24 hours of the mediation will be charged 4 hrs. of the Neutral’s hourly rate . Cancellation fees shall be sent to the cancelling party unless otherwise agreed to by the parties.
