Hon. Margaret Poissant to Speak at TexasBarCLE: Advanced Child Protection Law

Miles mediator and arbitrator Hon. Margaret Poissant will present at the upcoming TexasBarCLE program, Child Protection Law Appeals 101, in Georgetown, TX, hosted by the Texas Bar, taking place April 8–10.

Margaret’s session, “The Record,” is scheduled for April 8 at 2:00 p.m. The course will explore the fundamentals of handling appeals in child protection cases at each stage of the appellate process. It will also provide practical tools, such as sample filings and checklists, while helping both appellate and trial lawyers understand how to preserve issues effectively and build a strong record for appeal.
