A dedicated problem solver, Mandi Clay has experience in a variety of subject matters, including business/commercial litigation, labor and employment, real estate, contracts, intellectual property, homeowners’ association (HOA) disputes, personal injury, negligent security, property damage, civil rights, and class actions. Mandi has experienced the practice of law from both sides of the bench, having clerked for U.S. District Judge Gregory A. Presnell and U.S. District Judge Charlene Edwards Honeywell, both in the Middle District of Florida. She prides herself on being efficient and responsive to her clients and provides practical advice tailored to fit each client’s specific goals. Mandi is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court Mediator, a U.S. District Court Mediator, a trained arbitrator, and has served as a special magistrate.

Mike Peacock’s career as a litigator, which includes more than 40 years of law practice, prepared him to be an outstanding mediator and arbitrator. Mike’s training and education as a police officer, an ordained pastor, and years of experience in client counseling and pastoral counseling gives him deep insight into litigants, lawyers, and their positions and expectations in litigation.

 

“I joined Miles Mediation and Arbitration to be part of a team of experienced neutrals and to utilize my experience as a litigator, pastor, and mediator to assist in the resolution of disputes, conflicts, and claims as an effective alternative to prolonged litigation,” says Mike.

 

Mike is an experienced civil and criminal litigator, having tried dozens of jury cases, including complex homicide cases. While working as a police officer, he was trained in hostage negotiation, crisis intervention and conflict management, which formed the foundation for his role as a mediator. He received his Circuit and County Court Mediation Certification in 2007 and became a Florida Court Appointed Arbitrator in 2021.
