Miles is proud to sponsor the 40th Annual NC/SC Labor and Employment Law Conference on November 8-9, at the Le Méridien Charlotte. This year’s program covers the latest trends and key updates in labor and employment law. Highlights include discussions on restrictive covenants, ethical issues in remote and multijurisdictional practice, and a panel on DEI initiatives featuring the plaintiff’s attorney from the Duvall v. Novant case. The event will also cover topics such as employee privacy, workplace surveillance, and updates on EEOC regulations, employee classification, and overtime rules. Additionally, the event will review recent U.S. Supreme Court, Fourth Circuit, and North and South Carolina court rulings.
