Senior Neutral Gregory J. Parent Joins the Miles Charlotte Panel
CHARLOTTE, November 18, 2020– Miles Mediation & Arbitration, the largest ADR provider in the southeast, is proud to announce the addition of Gregory J. Parent to its panel in Charlotte (in addition to Atlanta). Utilizing his comprehensive background as a former Claims Adjuster, Defense Attorney, and Plaintiff’s attorney, Greg has been able to parlay his extensive litigation and claims experience into a very successful career as a sought after mediator and arbitrator.
Mr. Parent has 28+ years of mediation, arbitration, and litigation experience. He has been based in Miles’ Atlanta office since 2011. His ADR practice focuses on complex, multi-party disputes in areas of wrongful death, medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, construction defect, contract disputes, business dissolution, products liability, municipal and county liability cases, toxic torts, trucking and automobile liability, and premises liability.
He was voted #1 Mediator/Arbitrator in Georgia for 4 consecutive years in the Individual Mediator/Arbitrator category in the Daily Report’s annual Best of Readers Survey.
“What I like about Charlotte is I’m from here. I grew up in North Carolina and went to high school in both Gastonia and Fayetteville. I have always been proud to be from the Tar Heel State. After graduating from Ashbrook High School and UNC-Chapel Hill, I lived in Charlotte off of Scaleybark Road before returning to UNC for law school. I believe the Queen City is fertile ground to have explosive growth in mediation,” says Parent. “I welcome the opportunity to bring my passion for dispute resolution and arbitration to complement the supremely talented folks on the Charlotte panel who are already doing excellent work in that arena. It would be an honor to try and replicate the success we have enjoyed in Atlanta with the fine folks in Charlotte, North Carolina.” Greg continues to reside in Atlanta, with availability for big cases in Charlotte.
